Australia has the dual-flush toilet system, small button releases small amount of water (for liquid waste) while the other button releases full capacity of the tank (for solid waste). It is designed to lower the water usage. In fact, Victoria state government provides a rebate if you install a 4-star or higher WELS rated toilet.
